Confusion on entries

Hi,

I'm a bit confused on where to find the CodeGeist entries this year.

From the marketplace you get linked to https://marketplace.atlassian.com/codegeist. There are different add-ons on this page then on http://codegeist.atlassian.com/submissions and many of them are not even allowed to compete (as they are not new add-ons).

Which page should I watch to get an idea on the competing add-ons and why the 2 pages, isn't that confusing?

Cheers

    Hey Stefan,

We would like to have the same gallery available at both of the locations you've mentioned, so we're asking that everyone who participates simply check the "Codegeist entry" box when listing their add-on on the Marketplace and also fill out the quick entry form at Codegeist.Atlassian.com in order to be judged.

Obviously this is a manual process and even if someone isn't eligible, they can make submissions. I'll be checking the submissions periodically to remove ones that are ineligible, and obviously we'll check everything before judging.

Since we're managing the contest via ChallengePost this year, we want to feature the submissions to Codegeist on their page; however, we also want a documented list on the Marketplace. That's the reason behind the two pages. I'll do my best to keep them in sync.

So in theory both the listings should be the same, good to know.
I guess an entry is only valid when it's posted on ChallengePost, is this correct?

ps. the typo in the discusion topic is confusing too, but I can't edit my post anymore ;-)

Yes, the entry needs to be on ChallengePost in order to be judged. However, we will be lenient and send out reminders if you forget :)
